About the Role

The JWE is seeking someone with a strong business background and experience at
developing and executing educational programs to fill the role of Program Director.
This role will report to the Executive Director and involves building programming for
The JWE’s various pillars:

-Develop and oversee city chapter monthly educational programming and related collateral
-Develop and oversee city chapter expansion and board support
-Develop additional member support
-Create and implement national industry-focused programs
-Manage the JWE national mastermind program
-Support National Teach me Tuesday and develop other programming


-Develop workflow and process for intake and mentor facilitation
-Build Mentorship curriculum
-Build mentor CRM/database
-Manage mentorship program


-Build out our online learning platform
-Liaison with our marketing team to develop national curriculum
-Plan our national conference
-Plan our member-only retreat
-High-school learning program

This role will require travel. While this position is remote, we are looking to hire someone in the NY/NJ area.

Annual Salary: $100,000 + a benefits stipends

As The JWE continues to grow, we are looking to hire a Program Director to develop high quality programming, oversee its implementation and build infrastructure for each of our three organizational pillars: education, community and mentorship.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who is excited about our mission, is passionate about supporting women in business, promoting financial independence, and helping women achieve their dreams.

  • Someone who is “in the know” in the business and startup space and follows trends in the small business world

  • A “people’s person,” someone who can easily connect with women from a range of backgrounds

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Superior organization skills

  • Ability to innovate and pivot quickly

  • A self-starter- someone who does not need a lot of hand-holding

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint in particular)

  • Comfortable with Canva and Trello as well as other project management software

  • A strong team player

  • Business or non-profit experience

  • Experience with entrepreneurship membership models, or a former member of a business organization (EO, YPO, Vistage, etc.) is a huge bonus
